There are an estimated 100 million children living in the streets in the world today.
Children living on the streets are especially vulnerable to victimization and exploitation.
Most of them are on their own in Asia country and work or beg on the street to survive.
I usually don’t like to photograph poverty and misfortune but i’m particularly touched by this and willing to help these children in my way, that’s why 50 % of the price of children portrait i sold will be redistributed to street children anywhere i go.

Children beggars are often kinnapped from their parents or otherwise forced away from their families. Often their families have no idea where they are.
This young Chinese girl was begging on the street of Shanghai, during a cold winter and the temperature was near 0 degree Celsius. A fake bag seller, seeing me taking pictures of her, approached and we start to chat, he told me that unlike most of the children beggar in China, she wasn’t sent by her parents or an organization to be, but really on her own, and it really moved me
She looked very afraid of everybody, even of the people gived her money and tried to talk to her, i tried to, as well but in vain. It was mid January 2009, at the corner of Xiang Yang Lu and Huai Hai lu, and i never see her again.
